What is the default Gumroad fee?
Per gumroad.com/pricing: 10% + $0.50 on sales through your profile or direct links; 30% when buyers find you via Discover (processing included in the 30%). Card processing of ~2.9% + $0.30 is commonly charged separately on direct sales — toggle it in the form.
What about the high-volume rate?
After $20,000 in paid sales in a calendar month, further direct sales that month are often charged 5% + $0.50 instead of 10% + $0.50. Use the High-volume preset or edit the fields.
Is sales tax modeled?
No. Since Jan 2025 Gumroad acts as merchant of record for many tax obligations; this calculator shows platform + processing take-home only.
